The dLibra system can authenticate users with the use of LDAP catalog systems. In such a case, the login and password entered by a user are verified in a particular LDAP server by the dLibra system. If the data are correct, the user identity is determined in the dLibra system, on the basis of the properties of the account, which are downloaded from the LDAP catalog system.
