Introduction
In the dLibra library, there are access restrictions at several levels (click an element to see detailed information about it):
- the library level – restrictions pertaining to attribute, attribute dictionary, user, user group, language, tag, collection, and web application management;
- the directory level – restrictions pertaining to particular directories (to reading permissions and directory content modifications);
- the collection level – restrictions pertaining to particular collections (to assigning publications to collections); and
- the publication level – restrictions pertaining to particular publications (to their management and to access to publication editions).
Regardless of the access level, one can have user and group permissions – a user has permissions granted to the user directly as well as the permissions of all groups the user is a member. Therefore, any change of access permissions of a group will apply to every user belonging to that group.
