The aim of this guide is to present the basic functions of the dLibra system and to describe its modules (functions, configurations, etc.).

The first chapter contains a very general characteristic of the dLibra system. It is for people who do not have any knowledge about the system. The second chapter contains a description of the new functions in the newest version of the dLibra system. That information is primarily for the existing users of the dLibra system who would like to acquaint themselves quickly with the new functions available in its newest version. In the third chapter, the most important functions and characteristics of the dLibra system are described. It is a general overview of the possibilities offered by the dLibra software. The mechanisms of particular functions and the roles of particular system modules in those mechanisms are also described there. The fourth chapter is about the main element of the dLibra system: the server. The server is responsible for carrying out all the basic functions of the system. That chapter is for people responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the dLibra system (system administrators). In the fifth chapter, the Editor and Administrator Application is described. They are used for entering digital objects to the library and for managing its contents. That chapter provides detailed instructions for using the application in everyday work. In chapter six, elements of the reader application configuration are discussed. That chapter is for system administrators (technical application configuration) and for library administrators (for example, entering news on the home page). In chapter seven, the update system is described for system administrators. In chapter eight, additional tools for working with the dLibra system are presented. Chapter nine is about developing digital repositories based on the dLibra system. The last chapter contains the frequently asked questions and answers to them.
