In order to create a new directory, the user should:

1. From the element list, select the directory in which the new directory is to be placed.
2. From the context menu, select the “New directory” function. Alternatively, option Image Added can be selected from the toolbar, or the “New directory...” item can be selected from the “Management” menu.

3. In the first step of the creator, the user should enter the name of the new directory and the administrative notes for it (see the image below) and click the “Next” button to go to the next step

Aby stworzyć nowy katalog należy:

1. Na liście elementów wybrać katalog, w którym ma się znaleźć nowy katalog.
2. Z menu podręcznego należy wybrać funkcję Nowy katalog.... Można też wybrać opcję Image Removed z paska narzędzi lub pozycję Nowy katalog... z menu Zarządzanie.

3. W pierwszym kroku kreatora należy podać nazwę i uwagi administracyjne dla nowego katalogu (rysunek poniżej) i nacisnąć Dalej, aby przejść do następnego kroku.

4. In the second step, the user can enter the bibliographic description for the new directory (see the image below). The metadata of a directory constitute the default bibliographic description of the elements created in it. That description is automatically entered in the appropriate step of the new element creator and can be modified there, as appropriate. Metadane katalogu stanowią domyślny opis bibliograficzny elementów w nim tworzonych - opis ten jest automatycznie wprowadzony do odpowiedniego kroku kreatora nowego elementu i tam może być stosownie modyfikowany.
