The general information editor makes it possible to review and modify the main parameters of library objects, for example, the directory name for a directory object. The general information editor is usually in the first tab in the property window. The name of the tab is the name of the type of the edited element.
Below, the main properties of every library element are listed. Those properties are not visible on the website, with the exception of the name of the edition, which sometimes does appear in the portal (which is described in detail further in the text):
- library directory:
- a name – the name of which identifies the selected object in the dLibra system; it is independent of the selected language;
- notes – the administration notes for the selected directory; the content of the notes is independent of the selected language;
- an object (planned, group, standard, and an object the content of which has been removed):
- a name – the name of which identifies the selected object in the dLibra system; it is independent of the selected language;
- notes – the administrative notes for the selected object; the content of the notes is independent of the selected language;
- an edition:
- a name – the name of the selected edition; it is independent of the selected language, and it is only visible in the web application when the title is not included in the bibliographic description of the edition.
- notes – the administrative notes for the selected edition; the content of the notes is independent of the selected language; and
- publishing – the information about whether the edition is visible on web pages or if it is to be corrected.
Edytor informacji ogólnych umożliwia przeglądanie i modyfikowanie głównych parametrów obiektów biblioteki, np. nazwy katalogu dla obiektu katalog. Edytor informacji ogólnych znajduje się z reguły na pierwszej zakładce w oknie własności. Nazwa zakładki to nazwa typu edytowanego elementu.
Poniżej przedstawiona jest lista głównych własności dla każdego elementu biblioteki. Własności te nie są widoczne w portalu WWW z wyłączeniem nazwy wydania, która niekiedy pojawia się na portalu (szczegóły poniżej).
- Katalog biblioteki:
- Nazwa - określa nazwę katalogu identyfikującą go w systemie dLibra; nazwa katalogu jest niezależna od wybranego języka,
- Uwagi - uwagi administracyjne do katalogu; zawartość jest niezależna od wybranego języka,
- Obiekt (planowany, grupowy, normalny oraz z usuniętą treścią):
- Nazwa - określa nazwę obiektu identyfikującą ją w systemie dLibra; nazwa obiektu jest niezależna od wybranego języka,
- Uwagi - uwagi administracyjne do obiektu; zawartość jest niezależna od wybranego języka,
- Wydanie:
- Nazwa - określa nazwę wydania, która jest niezależna od wybranego języka; nazwa ta jest widoczna w aplikacji WWW tylko wtedy gdy tytuł nie jest zawarty w opisie bibliograficznym tego wydania,
- Uwagi - uwagi administracyjne do wydania; zawartość jest niezależna od wybranego języka,
- Publikowanie - informacja o tym czy wydanie jest widoczne na stronach internetowych lub przeznaczone do korekty
