Aplikacja redaktora i administratora jest programem okienkowym, składającym się z dwóch aplikacji: redaktora i administratora. Pozwalają one na zarządzanie zawartością biblioteki cyfrowej (aplikacja redaktora, np. dodawanie nowych pozycji) oraz zarządzanie samą biblioteką cyfrową (aplikacja administratora np. zarządzanie podziałem tematycznym biblioteki cyfrowej).
