Notes on mapping:
- Przypisywanie metadanych do schematu wymaganego przez MDS odbywa się poprzez podanie po znaku równości nazwy RDF atrybutu dostępnego w systemie dlibra (np. creator = Creator). Możliwe jest przypisanie kilku atrybutów (np. title = Title, Alternative).

- Metadana publicationYear jest wymagana przez MDS i jej wartość musi stanowić czterocyfrowa liczba naturalna (0000-9999). Jeśli wartość będzie niepoprawna, to zostanie wykorzystana data utworzenia obiektu w repozytorium cyfrowym.
Aplikacja czytelnika
- The values for {relatedldentlflerType} and {relatlonType} have been included in the file mentioned above.
- Any number of assignments for a metadata of the alternateldentlfler type can be made, in accordance with the alternateIdentifier.{freeText} schema, where {freeText} is any value.
- The publlcationYear metadata is required by the MDS, and its value must be a four-digit natural number (0000–9999). If the value is incorrect, the date of the creation of the object in the digital repository will be used.
Reader Application
For the DOI registration system to function correctly in the MDS system, the “doi.properties” file must also be configured. The file is lcoated in the “/conf” catalog of the Reader Application. Parametry konfiguracyjneConfiguration parameters:

- doi.prefix - przypisany przez DataCite prefix doiprefix – a DOI prefix assigned by the DataCite system;
doi.endpoint.mds - the adress adresfor dothe MDS, gdziewhere:
- https://mds.test.datacite.org - adres do testów – the address for tests, and
doi.defaultLanguage - język metadanych, który powinien być wykorzystany w przypadku obiektów, które mają zdefiniowane metadane w wielu językach
- https://mds.datacite.org - adres produkcyjny– the address for production; and
- doi.defaultLanguage – the language of the metadata which is to be used for objects the metadata of which are defined in many languages.
