Nowe typy elementów schematu metadanych: data oraz HTML

dLibra 6 otwiera nowe możliwości w zakresie opisywania obiektów cyfrowych przed redaktora. Poza standardowymi tekstowymi atrybutami (jak to było dotychczas) redaktor ma do dyspozycji typ daty oraz HTML.
Atrybuty o typie HTML umożliwiają osadzanie podstawowych znaczników HTML w tekście atrybutu, co pozwala na tworzenie wartości nietypowych (inny styl lub struktura informacji, wyróżnianie fragmentów).
W przypadku atrybutów typu data redaktor wprowadza zakres czasowy lub jednostkową datę. Dzięki temu użytkownicy portalu biblioteki cyfrowej mogą filtrować obiekty względem zakresu czasowego.
dLibra 6 posiada wbudowany mechanizm automatycznego rozpoznawania zakresu dat – wystarczy, że wpiszesz „I poł. XII wieku”, a system podpowie stosowny zakres dat. Twoje stare wartości też automatycznie przetworzymy i zaproponujemy odpowiednie zakresy.
- Jeśli czegoś nasz algorytm nie rozpozna – da znać. I spokojnie - to zdarza się rzadko – nasze testy wykazały, że tylko kilka procent dat nie jest rozpoznawanych przez nasze algorytmy.

In version 6.0 of the dLibra system, there are new possibilities regarding the editor’s descriptions of digital objects. Apart from standard text attributes (available so far), the editor can use data and HTML attributes.
HTML-type attributes make it possible to to put basic HTML tags in the attribute text, which allows creating untypical values (a different style or information structure, emphasizing fragments).
In the case of data-type attributes, the editor introduces a time range or an individual date, so users of the digital library can filter objects by time range.
Version 6.0 of the dLibra system has an in-built mechanism of automatic recognition of date ranges. For example, if the user types in “the 1^st half of the 12^th century”, the system will suggest an appropriate date range. Your old values will also be processed automatically, and appropriate ranges will be proposed.
If our algorithm does not recognize something, it will let you know about it. That, however, is an extremely rare event – the results of our tests have shown that only a few percent of dates are not recognized by our algorithms.

As regards browsing attribute value indexes, there are now more options than just paging and browsing alphabetically. With version 6.0 of the dLibra system, we introduce improved alphabetical browsing – there is a new function of filtering values by a search phrase, which allows greater precision in the case of huge indexesPrzeglądanie indeksów wartości atrybutu to już nie tylko stronicowanie i przeglądanie względem liter alfabetu.
