The general information editor makes it possible to review and modify the main parameters of library objects, for example, the directory name for a directory object. The general information editor is usually in the first tab in the property window. The name of the tab is the name of the type of the edited element.

Below, the main properties of every library element are listed. Those properties are not visible on the website, with the exception of the name of the edition, which sometimes does appear in the portal (which is described in detail further in the text):

  • a library directory:
    • a name – the name of which identifies the selected object in the dLibra system; it is independent of the selected language;
    • notes – the administration notes for the selected directory; the content of the notes is independent of the selected language;
  • an object (planned, group, standard, and an object the content of which has been removed):
    • a name – the name of which identifies the selected object in the dLibra system; it is independent of the selected language;
    • notes – the administrative notes for the selected object; the content of the notes is independent of the selected language;
  • an edition:
    • a name – the name of the selected edition; it is independent of the selected language, and it is only visible in the web application when the title is not included in the bibliographic description of the edition.
    • notes – the administrative notes for the selected edition; the content of the notes is independent of the selected language; and
    • publishing – the information about whether the edition is visible on web pages or if it is to be corrected.
